Pinnacle, Gerard Towers, Kennedy House & The Fairview are all hi-rise coops/condos located in Forest Hills.  The Fairview is located at 61-20 Grand Central Pkwy Forest Hills, NY 11375.  The Pinnacle is located at 112-01 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375.  The Kennedy house is located at 110-11 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375.  The Gerard Towers is located at 70-25 Yellowstone Blvd. Forest Hills NY 11375.  All of these buildings have a 24 hour doorman, have utilities included, garage and have a swimming pool on the premises.  Some of these units also have balconies.  These buildings are also pet friendly.  While most people prefer high rise living, not everyone can afford high rise living.

For instance, the higher the unit is located, the more the maintenance costs.  In addition, the higher the unit is located, the more value the apartment has well.  There are also views to consider.  The more desirable the views of the apartment has, say for example the apartment has New York City views, the more a shareholder/owner can ask for their unit.  This is another reason why penthouse apartments have added value, not to mention there size as well as height of the unit.  However, there is also fine living at the low rise pre-war buildings.

There are also very desirable low rise buildings in the Forest Hills area.  They are, but are not limited to the Normandy building located at 106-15 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills,NY 11375, George Washington Apartments located at 67-66 108 St., Forest Hills, NY 11375, Woodrow Wilson Apartments located at 69-10 108 St., Forest Hills, NY 11375, The Gardens at Forest Hills & Forest Hills South just to name a few.  While, these low rise pre-war buildings may not have the amenities that the high rise offers,  they do offer tranquil living, proximity to public transportation including the express subway and Long Island Railroad, as well as a part time doorman.  Some of the units also offer balconies.
